Abstract

Communication, Information and Technologies: Approaches and Applications is a 170-page collaborative volume coordinated by researchers from the University of Guadalajara and the Complutense University of Madrid, with contributions from several Ibero-American universities. The book gathers eight chapters that examine, from both theoretical and applied perspectives, the intersection of strategic communication, public information, and emerging technologies (particularly artificial intelligence, big data, and social media) across organizational, governmental, and civil contexts. Its multidisciplinary, ethically engaged approach —with a predominance of Mexican case studies— makes it a valuable resource for academics, communication professionals, and university educators, though it is limited in comparative geographic scope and the scale of its empirical components.
