La violencia contra las mujeres en el contexto de la ira y la reivindicación de derechos: un análisis en X

Resumen
Las estadísticas internacionales y nacionales indican que Turquía lidera los países de la OCDE en cuanto a la prevalencia de la violencia contra las mujeres, junto con una tendencia al alza en los feminicidios. Reconociendo que las plataformas de redes sociales hacen más que informar sobre los acontecimientos, ya que moldean activamente la memoria colectiva, este estudio reconceptualiza X (antes Twitter) como un ecosistema de comunicación dinámico. Analizamos 30 613 tuits originales en turco publicados entre el 7 de noviembre de 2022 y el 16 de enero de 2023 utilizando un método mixto: minería de textos automatizada para redes de hashtags y métricas de interacción, combinada con un análisis de contenido y discurso en dos etapas que conserva las principales características de la plataforma, como hashtags, menciones, emojis y profundidad de los hilos. Basándonos en la teoría de la fijación de la agenda de segundo nivel, la investigación sobre amplificación algorítmica de Bruns y Moe, y el marco de memoria digital de Ferron y Massa, identificamos tres fenómenos de comunicación estratégica: «Puntos álgidos de ira» (cascadas de indignación impulsadas por hashtags), «Peticiones de reivindicación de derechos» (apelaciones a las instituciones mediadas por menciones) y «Debates de resistencia colectiva» (deliberaciones basadas en hilos). Nuestros hallazgos revelan que los picos en el discurso se alinean con rápidas cascadas de retuits y promociones de temas de tendencia; las menciones directas funcionan como peticiones colectivas para cambios legales y políticos; y los hilos de respuestas extendidos alimentan narrativas contrarias sostenidas. Estos grupos temáticos actúan como expresiones emocionales y herramientas de comunicación táctica, aprovechando las posibilidades algorítmicas de X para coordinar la indignación pública e integrar los debates sobre feminicidio en la memoria social. Al destacar estos mecanismos comunicativos, demostramos el doble papel de X como espejo y motor del sentimiento público, enfatizando su potencial para influir en los debates de políticas y apoyar la defensa contra la violencia hacia las mujeres.
