Abstract
The book Forjadoras de utopías. Seis escritoras españolas entre dos siglos (XIX–XX) by Professor Asunción Bernárdez Rodal constitutes a valuable contribution to the field of information theory and media ethics, as it recovers the voices of six women who wrote between the 19th and 20th centuries from a position of rupture with the dominant discourse. The work not only highlights their contributions as literary authors but also positions them as active agents in the production of meaning, builders of discursive frameworks, and forerunners of ethically engaged communicative practices. This approach situates the analysis within a line of thought that understands communication not as a mere exchange of data, but as an essential dimension of justice, memory, and the future—thus opening new perspectives for the study of epistemic responsibility and the history of media thought.
